We (My wife, kids and I) used to eat a bunch of SPAM, back when we were young, and didn’t know enough to worry about our health. Although it’s supposedly made from the “Left Overs” of a pig, it was pretty tasty, especially when tossed in a frying pan.
Although SPAM is still around, the word Spam has taken on a new meaning, and it’s not fair to the infamous canned meat product. Unfortunately, unsolicited crappy posts, unsolicited tacky emails, Tweets, comments, and other unexpected and unwanted forms of digital communication, have earned that meaty treats moniker.
Such a shame. It’s not fair that an innocent meat product gets such a rap.
Since I’ve started Tweeting, and Blogging, I’ve opened myself up as a recipient of more tacky intrusions into my digital world, than just email and Facebook provided. Blech!!! I have to admit, though, although unwanted, some are interesting, but still, that doesn’t make it right.
So, what’s an Inter-Web-Junky to do? Install anti-spam software, when ever possible, trash a ton of it, AND make sure not to be involved in SPAMMING. On top of that, one might also enjoy a can of SPAM, once in a while.
So, how do you like your SPAM?
