If other educators don’t have the wealth that I have, from their years in education, then all I can say is, “You didn’t do it right!”
I’m good friends with numerous students, teachers and parents. I’ve recently read a book by a former student, I’m reading another book by a former student, I’m collaborating two books with former students, I have a successful blog site up, with contributions by former students, and I’m learning so much from former students; AND we have such plans in the works to teach and support others!!!!!!
I’m teaching, with students, that have taught me SO much!!
I never would have thought. In high school I swore I’d never be a teacher, but then I became one. After my first 6 years in education, I got out and swore I’d never teach again. One long year later I was back in, and after 27+ official years, I officially retired last year.
Although I’m retired, I’m still working on teaching and supporting, WITH FORMER STUDENTS!!!
One hell of a ride!
